OK GO! Most complicated music video ever?
Ad/moustrap inspired music video from the guys who brought us the treadmill music video.
The video shows an intricate two-storey Rube Goldberg machine in a Los Angeles warehouse that one bandmember starts off by pushing a red truck into a pile of dominoes. It ends with cannon shooting out paint on to the Chicago group. The clip, which is just under four minutes long, is filmed in one long take.

Rejection is a killer but it opens up new doors.
So I heard back from Oakwood about the junior designer position....
I didnt get the job! I recieved an email. yep an email after a second interview they didnt have the courtesy to use a little gadget called a phone! Fair enough if you are busy but a phone call doesnt take long. I asked for feedback as to why i didnt get the job and the answer is because I didnt have enough digital knowledge. DAM IT!! And also my book needs live work. Which is fair and is being improved upon. On the plus side I am no longer on a placement but im being paid as a freelancer, not too shabby at all.
So as one door closes another one opens...

Life Update
Instead of reading other blogs i have actually decided that today I will write a post.
So i thought I would update you on whats been occurring. Since my last post where i had dumped the idea of doing another uni course I have had a few major breakthroughs first I got back in contact with Gerry Doran at Target marketing group in Cheltenham. He offered me some time with the agency and i am still with them today. All is going well but only expenses are covered which at the moment is fine with me as the experience is priceless. I also have a second job interview with a design consultancy in Bristol which is awesome as i was worried that my portfolio may of been to Ads led. But lets hope they are looking for a conceptual designer with his own ideas. And finally i have been doing some freelance logo design for a local agency which if the client likes my work will be paid, so things are slowly coming together.
That is all.
O and yay to Emily who finally managed to get cross-stitching into a brief! Love! x x x

And it all goes to Shiz! Update!
SO i was to take on this placement through the graduate challenge scheme. Tuesday morning i arrived at the uni to discuss the academic side of the placement. Turns out there is 9000 words to write and many other things academic related that i decided half way thoguh the discussion that more qualifications and "points" towards masters is not what i needed. So therefore I decided to not take part, and for the first time in my life i actually walked away mid lecture. which i dont think i have ever done. So I cant do the placement. But what i have asked to do is volunteer 2 days a week to help with leaflet and brochure design aswell as any other marketing ideas i can think of. I am however slightly annoyed as i missed out on the opportunity of a concept day in bristol with many creatives. I may email Richard and see if there are any other chances.
So back to trying to find a job.
If anyone has any top tips then please do tell.
